"Photography for me is about creating visual stories with love and emotion. As a female photographer, I hope to bring an emotional touch to your photos whether it is for a wedding, a celebration or a family photoshoot.
I document unscripted and raw moments and let emotions speak for themselves in my photographs. I listen to your stories of love and family to let that guide me and create photographs as keepsakes and memories to keep for a long time to come. If this sounds like something you like, let's have a chat!"

About LOUISA VIOLET
Louisa Violet was born and raised in Singapore. In 2010, she went to the University of Western Australia in Perth where she graduated with a B.A (Hons) in English Literature and Communications.
Her interest in photography began when she was doing stage photography for her theatre class at University. She is passionate and inspired by English classics which remains influences for her work. Her photographs aim to tell hidden stories of the human condition.
She was working in the education sector before being selected to be a part of Noise Art Mentorship (Photography and Moving Images), which ran from June to December 2016, pairing artists with established professionals working in the arts where she was mentored by Singaporean documentary photographer, Edwin Khoo. Under his tutelage, she created a photo series titled "LINDA" which is a visual record of her grief from losing her mother to cancer in 2014. Her photo series was exhibited at Objectifs Centre in February 2017.
Louisa's photography series "Pandemonium" was selected to be exhibited at Affordable Art Fair Singapore 2019 as part of their Young Talent Programme. This work later won her a chance to have her own solo exhibition in 2020 at ION Art.
She is also a traveler with a thirst for exploring and knowledge. If she is not photographing, you will often find her with her nose in her book or writing which is her second love.
