Photography for me is about creating visual stories with love and emotion. I document unscripted and raw moments and let emotions speak for themselves in my photographs.

As a fellow pet owner, I understand the importance of capturing your family and pets’ special moments. These photos become memories you’ll cherish for years to come. Through my photography, I’ve had the honour of helping many families create lasting memories with their beloved pets. It’s been a fulfilling journey being able to do what I love. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members, whether in the studio or outdoors!

Her Story

Louisa Violet was born and raised in Singapore. She went on to live and study in Perth, Australia and graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2014 with Bachelor of Arts in English Literature (Honours) and Communications. She later went on to establish a her photography business specialising in commercial and lifestyle photography. Her main areas of specialty are families, pets and events having shot them since 2017.

In 2015, She was selected to be a part of Noise Art Mentorship (Photography and Moving Images), which ran from June to December 2016, pairing artists with established professionals working in the arts where she was mentored by Singaporean documentary photographer, Edwin Khoo. Under his tutelage, she created a photo series titled "LINDA" which is a visual record of her grief from losing her mother to cancer in 2014. Her photo series was exhibited at Objectifs Centre in February 2017.

Louisa's photography series "Pandemonium" was selected to be exhibited at Affordable Art Fair Singapore 2019 as part of their Young Talent Programme. She is an award recipient of the Young Talent Programme Winners’ Solo Exhibitions 2019/2020 - Her solo photography exhibition "Disquiet" is held at ION Art Gallery. She was also one of the Top 10 finalists of the 11th France and Singapore Photography Arts Awards (FSPAA). Inspired by her love of English classics and theatre, Louisa’s work focuses on conceptual photography. Her artworks explore intricate emotions and hidden stories of the human condition.

She is a traveler with a thirst for exploring and knowledge. If she is not photographing, you will often find her with her nose in her book or writing which is her second love.
